Hose Clamps, Nylon 666, Double-Locking.  We have the Best Prices and our nylon hose clamps have incredible strength and staying power due to the material they are made from and the double rows of interlocking teeth. They will not vibrate loose, can not rust or corrode, install faster than metal worm-drive clamps, are cost-effective in time savings, easy to install even with the hose already in place. There are no sharp edges or protruding bands to cut hands and arms and they are re-usable as long as the teeth are not damaged. The effective temperature range is -40 to +300 degrees F, they are not affected by fuels, oils, water or salt solutions and resistant to most chemicals (except acids).

These clamps are quality. They are not cheap plastic clips that will get brittle and disintegrate in a matter of weeks or months. Rotocon owner, Chuck Holloway, replaced OEM hose clamps on his radiator, heater and fuel injector hoses with the nylon hose clamps on his new 1988 Ford Mustang. They were still there when it was sold in 2003, some 15 years later. There were no failures and the radiator hose clamps were reused when new hoses  were installed. If you are concerned about the strength of Nylon 666, Michael Day Enterprises, Wadsworth, OH has published documentation of testing by ASTM Test Method D638 showing Nylon 666 tensil strength at the breaking point to be 26500 pounds per square inch, certainly strong enough for most applications short of hydraulic pressure hoses, which are not recommended.  Try them for your next application. You'll be glad you did.

To install, simply position the clamp around the hose and engage the tongue into the jaw with finger pressure. Using pliers, close clamp until the desired pressure is applied to the hose. To remove, use pliers to grip the entire end of the jaw section and gently twist sideways to disengage the teeth from the jaw.

These clamps come in black or royal blue. Some sizes we have in both colors, others, either black or blue. (If you have your heart set on a color, email us with the size you want and the color. We'll send a reply as to whether we have it or not).

To measure the outside diameter of your hose, take the open end of the hose and place a ruler or measuring tape across the end and note the inches and fractions across the center of the opening including both walls of the hose. This is an OD measurement. If you need ID or inside diameter measurement follow the same procedure except you do not include the walls of the hose (only the opening).

Herbie Clip Removal Tool. This tool fits all sizes of Herbie Clips (Nylon Hose Clamps) and is very easy to use. Just place the removal tool end over the back of the bottom female jaw and twist sideways. Diagrams, directions and sizes for each of the 3 gripper heads are printed on the tools for quick reference.

It is true that Herbie Clips can be removed with a simple pair of pliers but you will be less likely to damage the Herbie Clip interlocking teeth using the removal tool. The Herbie Clips can be used over and over again as long as the interlocking teeth are not damaged. The removal tool is made of corrosion-resistant steel. The shipping weight is approximately 7 ounces. When ordering multiple tools the incremental weight is 4 ounces.
